Beast

Grizzly bear ROAR by eidolic

It was my hunt
a quest
to tame the rage filled
bear
coax him into
the warm, soft haven
of my mouth
to taste with
ravenous hunger
the far edges
of my bravery
and desire
when this beast
laps sweetly
at the honey
between my quivering
thighs
it is then that I take
my prey
captured
within the net of
my passion
and in return
I am
conquered
completely
ripped to shreds
then pieced
together
in loving renewal
made better
and more whole
by the healing balm
of keening kisses
and rough,
raping
snuggles
from
my precious
beast

Fallen House

Fallen House by schneeengel via DeviantArt.com

Peeking in the windows
Of broken houses
You make your judgments
Assumptions
Based on perception
Instead of knowledge
Marking the walls with the
Graffiti
Of your supposition
No compassion for the souls
Who reside within

You think you know
That your circumstance
Gives you the right
To use
Someone else’s world
To convey
Your twisted message
Fueling the fire inside your heart
With the silence
Of that house
When really
Your muse is screaming
Trapped
Inside

One day you’ll know
How it feels
Some day
Someone will
Throw paint on
Your battered shell
Use YOU
As the
Un-indemnified muse
For their art
One day
That day
Maybe you’ll understand
What it’s like
Inside

A fallen house

Lunar

Crack open the moon
You’ll find me
Inside
Rubbing the glitter
Of twilight
Into my lips
Combing the shades
Of sunset
From my fur
Dancing to
The song of the
Crickets and frogs
In the grasses
Of lunar ecstacy
Find me
But leave my
Broken moon
Come rescue
This grey girl
From the cold
Hard loneliness
Of winter nights
Howling in the
Dark, or
Frosty spring mornings
Shivering in the
Mist
Let us walk along
The edge of reason
The shores of logic
The bridges over
Rationality
Until
The sultry purple
Sky of dusk
Reminds us
That
Tomorrow
Always comes
And the future
Could be
Far brighter
Than
That feral feeding
Orb
We call
Our moon

Sidewalk Chalk

162: Sidewalk Chalk by Lilliva-Dast

I poured this concrete
Mixed together
The burden of love
With the sandy
Salt of reason
And the
Soft sweet liquid
Smiles
Of babes who would
Never understand
Otherwise
It churned
Inside me
Until it grew too toxic
To hold in
So
I poured this concrete
Stepped in
Waded out
Until it hardened
All around me
Now
I’ll spend my nights
Coloring pictures
Of what true love is
And lying
About the color
Of the chalk

Her Song

Don't Stop by devilicious via DeviantArt.com
Don’t Stop by devilicious via DeviantArt.com

In his Carhartt jacket
Broad shoulders
Slumped
Tall but unmeasured
Ruddy skin from
Working outside
In the blazing heat
And the cutting cold
Three days of scruff
Dirt lingering beneath
His fingernails
Despite showers
Every morning
And each night
Sitting on the street
In his
F150, extended cab
On his way to
Pick up his crew
For a day of
Hard labor
And
Little reward
He sits at a stoplight
With a CD in his player
No one else
Around
It plays on
Repeat
It plays that song
Her song
As he imagines all the
Minutes
They will never share
Remembers
All the times that they
Laughed, cried, fought
Made love
Ached for one another
Promised to never
Leave
Her smile in the dark
Her fingers in the light
Her sitting next to him
Toes on the dash
Drawing out a future
In kisses and laughs
He stares ahead
In the hour before dawn
At the light telling him
To go
But he stops and
Wonders
How he got there
Singing along
To that silly song
Her song
And when will
He
Ever
Stop

Winter

The Blizzard by dyingrose24 via DeviantArt.com
The Blizzard by dyingrose24 via DeviantArt.com

She will steal your breath
Facing all unafraid
The power behind her frailty
Assumes a beauty
Found only
In sparkling, white crispness

Out of the wonderland
Sometimes rage
Defies reason
As she creates
The Blizzard
To prove her prestige

A storm like no other
Chilling and fear inducing
But with a purity
Not found in thunder
Lightning or even
Cleansing, torrential rain

The light inside her
Can sometimes be blinding
You cannot stare too long
You dare not breathe her in
You will not outlast her
Sweet Winter

Her fierceness
Will defy the strength
Of man
While her peacefulness
May invite pleasures
Unknown by too many

In her coldness
You will find warmth
In her grace
You will find foulness
In her design
You will find uninhibited chaos

Sweet, fierce winter
Often underestimated
Rarely coveted
But always
And forever
Picturesque and appreciated.

Last Star

image

It perches, high, in the bleak winter sky,
Mocking the sunrise, twinkling for my eyes.

It reminds me to enjoy being alone.

Moments when I need peace.
Solitude. Reflection. Or quick release.

It also reminds me of the sparks of love.

The minutes of my good day kiss.
Child adoration. A new friend missed.

Today, it felt like a whole new thing.

A sign of what’s to come.
My future. Glittering above.

A new star. The last star. My star.

Crazy

My desire, your mess.
My amazing, your best.

My dreams, your command.
My fantasy, your reprimand.

My voice, your thrill.
My noise, your little blue pill.

My heart, your garden.
My body, your pardon.

My hope, your everything.
My crazy, you’re everything.

Into the unknown by lostknightkg via DeviantArt.com
Into the unknown by lostknightkg via DeviantArt.com

My mind is jumbled, I don’t understand.

Why now? What does this mean? How will this work? Who am I going to be?

I’m spinning.

Please keep going, though.

Please continue.

If it’s real, it will stick.

Don’t stop the carousel.

I know it’s real. All of it.

It’s just so unknown.

Carry me into the unknown…
