Apart
One too many
Sunset and rise,
We find one another
Again.
No space.
No time.
Touching timidly,
Kissing frantically,
The synergy
Magnetizes us like
Gravity
Between two planets.
But when
Our bodies
Finally unite and
Our skin burns
With the fire
Of our collision,
The flames
Are not of
Destruction
But of
Renewal.
Our love blazes
Hotter
Than the sun,
Fiercely
Entangling us
In the breathless
Creation
Of two becoming one.
Flesh to flesh.
Limbs entwined.
Nothing will be saved.
Nothing to be spared.
Nothing.
But
Our love.
Our need.
Our unending
Lust.
Like gravity.
Beautifully portrayed the way I feel.

“funny how our hearts
were designed
to love
so fiercely.
but break
ever so gently.”
